By creating a contributor profile or submitting content to our platform, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian to submit content. 

2. Contributor Account

  • You agree to provide accurate information when creating your profile.
  • Account information will be provided to you after you create your profile. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You may update or delete your profile information at any time by emailing info@myhomebase.org

3. Content Submission & Rights

  • Ownership: By submitting content, you agree that all copyright and ownership of your submission will be transferred to Homebase upon submission. You acknowledge that Homebase will become the sole owner of the content and may use, edit, reproduce, distribute, display, and publish it in any form or medium without further approval or compensation.
  • Editing Rights: The editorial team may edit submissions for grammar, clarity, style, images, or formatting.
  • Originality: All submissions must be your original work. You may not submit plagiarized content or work that violates someone else’s copyright.

4. Contributor Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, respectful, and culturally sensitive content.
  • Avoid promotional, offensive, discriminatory, or unlawful content.
  • Ensure images, media, and references included in your post are properly licensed or credited.

5. Publication Process

  • Submissions will be reviewed and edited by the editorial team.
  • Approval and publishing are at the discretion of Homebase.
  • Submissions may be rejected without notice if they violate guidelines or are deemed unsuitable.

6. Liability & Disclaimers

  • Homebase is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or consequences of the content submitted.
  • We do not guarantee publication, views, or specific outcomes.
  • If you would like changes made to live posts or posts removed, email info@myhomebase.org to have the change request reviewed.Changes will be made at the discretion of Homebase.

8. Privacy

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By submitting content, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described.

9. Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate contributor accounts for violations of these terms.
  • Contributors may request account deletion at any time.

10. Governing Law
